It's to be expected that having shared our lives with so many critters, that we have had a few pass on from our lives, leaving a hole in our hearts that we can only hope to fill with wonderful memories...

I was honored to have shared 15 of your 26 years. What a great old horse! I'll never forget swimming across my Dad's lake, putting the veterinary student in his place when he thought to treat you like a cow, and your cute little trot.
Jake
Jake was rescued by the police, in his back yard being stabbed by his owner. He had over 15 penknife wounds and his name was "Satan" at the time. One has to wonder how people become so evil. He was the sweetest dog, and was completely devoted to my husband. He lived to be 17 years old and died peacefully in his sleep.
These are our first three cats, Irish, Josh and BillyBob. They have all passed on over the years but are still very missed.

You were the best broodmare I've been blessed to know, even when the babies were not yours. I will always think of you as Grandma Jag. Be at peace old girl, you've earned it.
