**Specializing in making dreams come true - one spot at a time!**

1998 - 2008  Ten Years of Making Dreams Come True in Georgia, Texas, Oklahoma, North Carolina and finally New York where we continue Spotting Dreams...

Once upon a time...

with only a heart full of dreams, a little bit of luck, lots of determination, and yes, a couple of horses, we started down a path less taken. Fortunately for us - hoof prints don't fade as quickly as footprints!

What started as a little girl's dream has slowly spun into what is now Teloga Valley Farm. We started with one little app mare, one quarter horse mare, an old chestnut gelding and a very tolerant husband!  We began "officially" raising horses in 1996 when we moved to the small community of Teloga, Georgia.  Wow, that was so many years and several moves ago!  In 1998, we were able to acquire a leopard weanling colt who  taught me so much and helped make so many dreams come true.  (You can read his story and legacy here...Talk About Tardee).  At the same time, we headed West and after 4 months in Texas, settled in Oklahoma for a 2 year stint.  In that time, we became involved with showing our Appaloosa colt and putting a direction with spots into our breeding program.  We were then moved to North Carolina for a couple of years where we focused more on breeding and less on showing.  In 2001 we had our first home-bred baby born, a beautiful blanketed filly. Two more appaloosa fillies would follow in 2002, one of which was Top Ten in the Nation FPD mares in 2004, and one last move to Canandaigua, NY was made.  Since then we have consistently put quality, temperament and color on the ground through our foals.  Though still a small farm by most comparisons, we aim to breed babies with great bloodlines, and even better conformation and potential. More importantly, we want any horse born and raised here to be well-mannered, easy to work with and totally in love with the people around them!

Where will this dream end? Well, anyone who has ever followed their dreams can tell you, there's always more dreams to be dreamt, all it takes is the courage to do so!

And it's not just my dreams that are being dreamt here...

So let us take you on a tour of the farm. And if you'd like, feel free to dream a few dreams of your own!

Friends and Family

Raggio Ranch is owned by Brian and Deena Raggio who are awesome friends and honest people.  I have to give them a whole lot of credit for getting me involved in showing appaloosas and teaching me the ropes.  Brian is not only a well known trainer in the halter world, but he and Deena also stand quite a few stallions for Turro Enterprises every year.
Specializing in Leopards, John and Julie have some beautiful horses, a great message board, foal cams and if you have the chance to meet them in person I highly recommend it!  Great people to be around, and wonderful show support!

Appaloosa Clubs and Stuff!

In case you didn't know, I'm just a transplanted Georgia Peach and I do like to keep up with some folks from "down south".  My first appaloosa show that I went to see was in Perry, Ga. so GAHA will always have a place in my heart!

The Appaloosa Horse Club where you can find out who's leading the nation, what's being Spotted in today's show rings and even pick out a name for your new spotted addition!

The Lake Champlain Appaloosa Club puts on a show in Plattsburgh, NY every year.  If you're out our way early in July, I highly recommend stopping in for this show, it is always packed with fun, friends and SPOTS!  What a wonderful group of people and a great show!

The Northeastern Appaloosa Association is our most local group and puts on one of the largest regional Appaloosa shows every year in Syracuse, NY.  It's no surprise though that they draw such large crowds, they work really hard to make it fun and worth the trip!  Members receive a bi-monthly newsletter filled with timely articles, updates and stories so feel free to join even if you aren't currently showing or raising apps in NY!

Neat Places, Message Boards, etc.

www.HorseHobbyist.com - The Information portal for Equine Enthusiasts!  Part of PetHobbyist.com, we have message boards, scheduled chats, newsletters and much more.  Our own "Tardee Silver Lining" is the poster child for our Forum!

Dreamhorse has one of the best classifieds out there as far as I'm concerned.  The text ads are free, they are very user friendly and have some great search engines to find the perfect horse!

This one's a relatively new site with a lot of potential I think, and they were nice enough to have already added my website to their links page!
A Classifieds site for Appaloosas only!  Easy search features, drop down menus and lots of spots to choose from.

Another good site for looking for that perfect spotted horse!  This one allows 5 pictures per ad, and the format is easy on the eyes!

What's Horse In Northern New York?  This site answers that question and then some.  Classifieds, foals announcements, farm supplies and services - it's all here!

If you're looking for haying equipment or just farm equipment in general, give these guys a look!  We bought our disc mower from them and the entire experience was wonderful.  You aren't likely to find more reasonable rates or friendly service either!
